Terms of Service - ScrollSnap

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the ScrollSnap browser extension and website (the "Service") for capturing full-page screenshots.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service. ScrollSnap is a browser extension that enables you to capture high-quality, full-page screenshots with all processing happening locally in your browser.

2. Usage License

ScrollSnap grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install, and use the extension solely for capturing screenshots for your personal or internal business purposes strictly in accordance with the terms of this Agreement. All screenshot processing occurs locally on your device.

3. Pro Lifetime & Billing

The paid version of the Service is ScrollSnap Pro Lifetime. It is sold as a one-time USD $9.99 purchase and unlocks unlimited captures for the lifetime of the product, subject to these Terms. The free tier includes 2 captures per day.

Important: No Auto-Renewal

ScrollSnap Pro Lifetime is not a subscription and does not automatically renew. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.

4. License Key Delivery & Storage

After a successful checkout, ScrollSnap displays your Pro Lifetime license key on the payment confirmation page. We do not rely on email delivery for license keys. You are responsible for copying and saving your license key in a safe place before closing the confirmation page.

If you lose your license key, contact support at licence@scrollsnap.it with the checkout email address and Stripe receipt or payment details. We may ask for proof of purchase before helping recover or verify license access.

Each Pro Lifetime license can be activated on up to 2 devices. License keys are intended for the purchaser's own use and may not be resold, shared publicly, or used to bypass device limits or quota systems.

5. Cancellation & Refunds

Because ScrollSnap Pro Lifetime is a one-time purchase, there is no subscription renewal to cancel. You may access your account page for your license information or contact customer support for billing help.

Refunds: We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for first-time purchases. After 14 days, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
Termination: We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service:

In any way that violates any applicable national or international law or regulation.
To attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, hack, or disable any mechanism in the Service.
To uninstall, reinstall, manipulate device identifiers, share licenses, or otherwise attempt to bypass free quota, license activation, or device limits.
To exploit, harm, or attempt to exploit or harm minors in any way.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall ScrollSnap, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
